An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N615AS performing flight
AS-1433 from Las Vegas,NV to Seattle,WA (USA), was enroute at FL400 about 120nm eastnortheast of Sacramento,CA (USA) when the crew decided to divert to Sacramento reporting smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft landed safely on Sacramento's runway 16L about 25 minutes later.
The remainder of the flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Sacramento about 10 hours after landing.
