A Fly All Ways Fokker 70, registration PZ-TFB performing flight 8W-625 from Georgetown (Guyana) to Bonaire (Bonaire) with 44 people on board, was climbing through FL250 when the crew observed the oil pressure of the right hand engine (Tay 620) dropping. The crew stopped the climb at FL260 due to a low oil pressure indication, reduced the engine to idle and returned to Georgetown for a safe landing about 35 minutes after departure.

The aircraft subsequently attempted two test flights the same day, then remained on the ground and is still on the ground in Georgetown about 3 days 17 hours after landing back as 8W-625.

Local emergency services reported they were informed at 11:12L (15:12Z) about the returning aircraft due to a low engine oil pressure in the right hand engine, the engine was still operating at idle power.
