An Air Arabia Airbus A321-200N, registration A6-ATD performing flight G9-526 from Sharjah (United Arab Emirates) to Chittagong (Bangladesh) with 191 people on board, was on approach to Chittagong when the crew reported a hydraulic failure and entered a hold to work the related checklists. The aircraft subsequently landed on Chittagong's runway 23 and became disabled on the runway. The aircraft was towed off the runway about 12 minutes after landing.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Chittagong about 17 hours after landing.
