An Air Atlanta Europe Malta Boeing 747-400 freighter on behalf of Saudi Arabian Airlines, registration 9H-AKJ performing flight SV-3902 from Liege (Belgium) to Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), was climbing out of Liege's runway 22L when the crew stopped the climb at FL100 due to the loss of hydraulic system #4, the crew decided to return to Liege and dump fuel, however, only the right hand fuel dump valve opened, no fuel was dumped from the right hand wing. The aircraft entered a hold at FL100 to dump and landed safely on runway 22L about 85 minutes after departure.

The aircraft returned to service about 9 hours after landing back.
