An Air Atlanta Malta Boeing 747-400 freighter on behalf of Saudi Arabian Airlines, registration 9H-AKJ performing flight
SV-903 from Liege (Belgium) to New York JFK,NY (USA), was enroute at FL340 about 140nm southsouthwest of Goose Bay,NL (Canada) when the crew decided to divert to Goose Bay for a safe landing on runway 08 about 45 minutes later.
The Canadian TSB reported the crew declared PAN PAN and reported indication of a hydraulic issue.
The aircraft remained on the ground for 5 days, then continued the journey to New York on Jul 10th 2026.
