A4-525 from Yaroslavl to Sochi (Russia), landed on Sochi's runway 02 at about 15:09L (12:09Z) but touched down hard at +2.64G. The aircraft bounced, touched down right main gear first, left gear, veered off the center line but remained within the runway edges and rolled out without further incident. The aircraft taxied to the apron.
The aircraft remained in Sochi for about 90 minutes, then departed for the return flight A4-526 and continued to operate until Mar 17th 2021 18:47Z completing a total of 8 sectors, remained on the ground in Rostov (Russia) for about 12.5 hours, continued service from the morning of Mar 19th until Mar 19th 19:25Z completing another 4 sectors, then remained on the ground in Krasnodar (Russia) for about 3 days 11 hours (83 hours). The aircraft subsequently returned to service in the morning of Mar 23rd 2021 and is operating since.
Rosaviatsia reported the first officer was pilot flying on the occurrence flight. Descending through about 50 feet AGL the rate of descent increased prompting the captain to intervene providing control inputs on his side stick resulting in a "DUAL STICK INPUT" message. The aircraft hit the runway surface hard at +2.64G, bounced about 5 feet up and touched down a second time right main gear first, left main gear second and off the runway axis thus veering off the runway centerline, however, remained within the runway edges. The aircraft rolled out without further incident. When interviewed the crew reported they did not feel any hard landing and therefore saw no need to report the occurrence. After Rosaviatsia learned of the hard landing a commission inspected the aircraft, found no damage and returned the aircraft to service.
