An Air Baltic Bombardier C-Series CS-300, registration YL-CSN performing flight BT-308 from Helsinki (Finland) to Riga (Latvia) with 120 people on board, was climbing out of Helsinki when the passenger oxygen masks dropped prompting the crew to level off at FL140. After determining that the cabin pressure was okay the crew elected to continue the flight to Riga at FL140. The aircraft landed safely in Riga about 50 minutes after departure.

The airline reported the cabin pressure system was working normally at all times. This was the first time this has happened on this aircraft type caused by an erroneous signal of cabin pressure from the control unit.

The aircraft returned to service on Apr 2nd 2024.
