A BAW British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-EUUM performing flight BA-1391 from Belfast City,NI to London Heathrow,EN (UK), was on final approach to Heathrow's runway 27L descending through about 2600 feet MSL when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing temporary loss of control, the aircraft veered to the left. The crew was able to regain control, initiated a go around, positioned for another approach and landed safely on runway 27L about 15 minutes after the turbulence encounter.

The AAIB opened an investigation reporting: "During the approach, the aircraft experienced turbulence. It regained control and then made a landing."
