A Biman Bangladesh Boeing 737-800, registration S2-AFL performing flight
BG-371 from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Kathmandu (Nepal) with 77 people on board, was descending towards Kathmandu when the crew stopped the descent at 12500 feet due to problems with the left hand flaps. The aircraft diverted to Patna (India) for a safe landing at a higher than normal speed.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Patna for about 4 hours, then continued the flight to Kathmandu and arrived with a delay of 5.5 hours.
