A Budapest Air Service Embraer EMB-120 on behalf of FlexFlight, registration HA-FAN performing flight
W2-5690 from Pori to Helsinki (Finland), was climbing out of Pori when the crew stopped the climb at FL170 reporting the aircraft had flown through a flock of birds and had received a number of bird strikes. The aircraft returned to Pori for a safe landing about 30 minutes after departure.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 7.5 hours, then departed as flight W2-5694 and reached Helsinki with a delay of about 8 hours.
