AC-7201 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 3 crew, was enroute at FL360 about 200nm north of Quebec City,QC (Canada) about 90 minutes prior to estimated arrival, when the crew received a "SLAT DRIVE
FAIL" message. The crew decided to continue the flight to Toronto, declared PAN PAN during the approach and landed safely at a higher than normal speed about 90 minutes after the failure message.
The aircraft returned to service about 47 hours after landing.
