A Cayman Airways Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration VP-CIZ performing flight
KX-481 from Los Angeles,CA (USA) to George Town (Cayman Islands), was on approach to George Town when the crew stopped the descent at 4000 feet due to stuck flaps and entered a hold. The aircraft landed safely on George Town's runway 08 at a higher than normal speed (about 180 knots over ground).
The airline reported the aircraft landed with minimal flaps following a flaps asymmetry.
The aircraft is still on the ground at Grand Cayman about 18 hours after landing.
