A Central Mountain Air Dornier Do-328, registration C-FDYN performing flight 9M-8438 from Kelowna,BC to Prince George,BC (Canada) with 11 passengers and 3 crew, was enroute at FL240 when the crew observed fluctuations of the oil pressure of the right hand engine (PW119B). ATC advised they would need to hold at Prince George due to traffic, the crew thus declared PAN PAN and continued for a safe landing in Prince George.

Canada's TSB reported the engine's number 3 and number 4 bearing labyrinth seals were leaking air and pressurizing the bearing cavity to the point where oil had been pushed out into the intercompressor turbine case and overboard into both cowling and the exhaust burn off duct. The operator is coordinating with the engine manufacturer and indicated the engine requires replacement.
