A Corsair Airbus A330-900, registration F-HSKA performing flight SS-926 from Paris Orly (France) to Pointe-a-Pitre (Guadeloupe), was climbing out of Paris when the crew stopped the climb at FL150 reporting a hydraulic failure. The aircraft returned to Paris Orly for a safe landing on runway 24 about one hour after departure and taxied to the apron.

The airline reported one of the three hydraulic systems failed.

Passengers reported the captain announced they had a technical problem they did not want to cross the Atlantic with and thus return to Paris.

A replacement A330-900 registration F-HETE reached Pointe-a-Pitre with a delay of about 5:15 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Paris about 32 hours after landing.
