A Cote Ivory Airbus A320-200, registration TU-TSW performing flight HF-724 from Bamako (Mali) to Conakry (Guinea), was accelerating for takeoff from Bamako's runway 24 when the crew rejected takeoff at high speed (about 115 knots over ground) after the aircraft collided with an animal on the runway. The aircraft slowed safely and taxied to the end of the runway to backtrack back to the apron.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Bamako (standing Oct 28th 2026).
