An Easyjet Airbus A319-100, registration G-EZAN performing flight
U2-8378 from Rimini (Italy) to London Gatwick,EN (UK), was climbing out of Rimini's runway 13 when the crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet due to an engine (CFM56) problem and returned to Rimini for a safe landing on runway 13 about 35 minutes after departure.
A replacement A319-100 registration G-EZOX reached London with a delay of about 7 hours.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 29 hours, then returned to London and resumed service.
