An Endeavor Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N8869B performing flight DL-4786 from Atlanta,GA to Asheville,NC (USA) with 47 people on board, was in the initial climb out of Atlanta's runway 08R when the crew stopped the climb at 6000 feet reporting they had an engine (CF34) bleed problem and decided to return to Atlanta advising they needed to perform a reduced flaps landing. The aircraft landed safely on runway 08L at a higher than normal speed (178 knots over ground) about 15 minutes after departure.

On Jun 8th 2021 The Aviation Herald received information, that the crew dealt with a bleed air leak 14th stage of the right hand engine (CF34), therefore needed to reduce the engine to idle thrust which further required to use reduced flaps for landing. After landing a toilet smoke warning activated.
