AA-3677 from Chicago O'Hare,IL to Madison,WI (USA) with 40 people on board, was climbing through 11000 feet out of Chicago when the crew declared emergency reporting a bad smell on board. The crew requested runway 28C for the return and landed safely on 28C about 25 minutes after departure.
A replacement ERJ-145 registration N908AE reached Madison with a delay of about 80 minutes.
