An Euroatlantic Airways Boeing 767-300, registration CS-TSU performing flight YU-613 from Jerez,SP (Spain) to San Salvador (El Salvador), was climbing out of Jerez when the crew set course to divert to Seville,SP (Spain) due to a bird strike into one of the engines (PW4056), stopped the climb at about 15,000 feet and landed safely on Seville's runway 27 about 35 minutes after departure.

The aircraft was carrying the soccer team of Cadiz (Spain) to El Salvador to play a friendly tribute match. Following the diversion the team returned to Cadiz by bus.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Seville about 22 hours after landing.
