A Flair Airlines Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration C-FLQO performing flight F8-600 (dep Jan 1st) from Vancouver,BC to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 166 people on board, was enroute when cabin crew noticed a strong odour of burning rubber or plastics near seats 20E/F. The smell soon diminished but a faint odour remained. Both captain and first officer investigated the cabin but found no problem. Cabin crew searched all luggage and personal electronic devices with no problems identified. The flight crew decided to continue to Toronto. Upon landing smoke was seen near seats 19E/F. Emergency services responded to the gate and cleared the aircraft for deboarding.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance found condensation in the Passenger Service Units (PSUs) above seat 19E/F.
