An Air France Airbus A330-200, registration F-GZCM performing flight
AF-565 from Beirut (Lebanon) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was enroute at FL400 about 60nm south of Munich (Germany) in Austrian Airspace, when a burning odour was detected on board, the captain subsequently informed passengers about toxic fumes as cause of the diversion to Munich. The aircraft landed safely on Munich's runway 26L about 18 minutes later.
Passengers reported they observed smell of fire on board.
