An Air France Boeing 777-200, registration F-GSPY performing flight AF-111 from Shanghai (China) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was enroute at FL380 about 30nm north of Munich Airport (Germany) when the crew decided to divert to Munich due to a problem with the left hand engine (GE90). The aircraft landed safely on Munich's runway 26R about 30 minutes later.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Munich about 10 hours later.
