A GoAir Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-WJG performing flight
G8-6202 from Srinagar to Delhi (India), was climbing out of Srinagar when the crew stopped the climb at about 11000 feet and decided to return to Srinagar due to a right hand engine (PW1127G) EGT limit exceedance. The aircraft landed safely back on Srinagar's runway 31 about 15 minutes after departure.
A replacement A320-200N registration VT-WGM reached Delhi with a delay of about 3 hours.
India's DGCA opened an investigation due to two occurrences on same aircraft type and operator within a day.
