An Iberia Airbus A320-200, registration EC-IZH performing flight IB-945 from Madrid,SP (Spain) to Split (Croatia) with 172 passengers and 6 crew, landed on Split's runway 23 and was rolling out when the nose gear turned 90 degrees at low speed causing damage to the nose tyres. The aircraft became disabled on the runway. The runway needed to be closed for about two hours until the aircraft was removed.

Croatia's Accident Investigation rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
