An Indigo Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-IZF performing flight
6E-2329 from Guwahati to Delhi (India), was climbing out of Guwahati's runway 20 when the crew stopped the climb at about 6000 feet following a bird strike into the right hand engine (PW1127G). The aircraft returned to Guwahati for a safe landing on runway 20 about 15 minutes after departure.
A number of fan blades were found damaged by the bird strike.
The aircraft returned to service after about 27 hours on the ground.
