An Indigo Airbus A320-200N, registration VT-ISY performing flight 6E-1467 from Mangalore (India) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates) with 160 people on board, was accelerating for takeoff from Mangalore's runway 06 when the crew rejected takeoff at about 80 knots over ground after a bird had impacted the aircraft. The aircraft slowed safely and returned to the apron.

A replacement Airbus A320-200N registration VT-IJB reached Dubai with a delay of about 3 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Mangalore about 13 hours after the rejected takeoff.
