An Indigo Airbus A321-200N, registration VT-ILZ performing flight
6E-2102 from Goa to Delhi (India) with 229 people on board, was climbing out of Goa's runway 28 when the crew stopped the climb at FL140 reporting an engine (LEAP) failure. The aircraft returned to Goa for a safe landing on runway 28 about 35 minutes after departure.
The airline reported a technical issue.
A replacement Airbus A321-200N registration VT-IWR reached Delhi with a delay of about 6:15 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Goa about 10 hours after landing.
