An Indonesia AirAsia Airbus A320-200, registration PK-AZL performing flight QZ-154 from Medan (Indonesia) to Bangkok Don Mueang (Thailand), was enroute at FL360 over the Gulf of Thailand when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure. The aircraft continued to its destination at FL100 for a safe landing about one hour after leaving FL360.

On Feb 27th 2024 Thailand's Authorities reported: "Events requiring the emergency use of oxygen by the flight crew.", the occurrence is being investigation by Indonesia's Authorities.
