An Air Inuit de Havilland Dash 8-300, registration C-FEAI performing flight 3H-802 from Montreal,QC to Kuujjuarapik,QC (Canada) with 13 passengers and 3 crew, was climbing out of Montreal when the crew stopped the climb at 4000 feet and requested to return to Montreal due to the loss of hydraulic fluid from the #2 system. The crew declared emergency, worked the related checklists and landed safely back on Montreal's runway 24 about 35 minutes after departure.

The Canadian TSB reported the aircraft vacated the runway onto taxiway A2 and was subsequently towed to the apron.

The aircraft returned to service about 28 hours after landing back.
