One passenger who was seated at the time of touch down suffered a compression fracture of the lumbar vertebrae due to the impact of landing. The weather at the time, the piloting operations and the aircraft did not contribute to the injuries. There is no reason for the injury.

However, to pass smoothly through security checks the passenger had taken off that waist belt and did not put it back on.
