A Fly Jinnah Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BOV performing flight 9P-843 from Lahore to Karachi (Pakistan), was climbing out of Lahore when the crew stopped the climb at FL080 reporting a problem with the pressurization. The crew subsequently advised the problem was resolved and requested to continue to climb and was cleared to climb to FL360. Climbing through FL230 both captain and first officer felt dizzy, drowsy and inactive, both donned their oxygen masks, stopped the climb at FL270 and requested to descend and return to Lahore. A member of the cabin crew passed out and regained consciousness after being administered oxygen, the other cabin crew members also did not feel comfortable. The aircraft landed back in Lahore about 45 minutes after departure.

Pakistan's AIB rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.

On Jan 6th 2025 Germany's BFU reported they have joined the investigation because a component had been designed/manufactured in Germany.
