A Korean Airlines Boeing 787-9, registration HL8081 performing flight KE-461 from Seoul (South Korea) to Da Nang (Vietnam), landed on Da Nang's runway 35L and taxied to the apron. Subsequently ground staff discovered the nose radome was dented by a bird strike.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight KE-462, which was cancelled.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Da Nang about 25 hours after landing.
