A LATAM Brasil Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MBH performing flight
LA-3457 from Florianopolis,SC to Sao Paulo Congonhas,SP (Brazil), was climbing out of Florianopolis' runway 32 when the crew stopped the climb at about 6000 feet reporting a bird strike. The crew needed to shut the left hand engine (V2527) down and returned to Florianopolis for a safe landing on runway 32 about 13 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
