A LATAM Brasil Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MHP performing flight JJ-3040 from Brasilia,DF to Vitoria,ES (Brazil) with 118 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing out of Brasilia's runway 29L when the crew received fault messages for both cabin pressure controllers, switched to manual cabin pressure control, stopped the climb at 7000 feet and returned to Brasilia for a safe landing on runway 29L about 30 minutes after departure.

Brazil's CENIPA reported the crew received an ECAM message "CAB PR 1+2 FAULT", switched to manual control of the cabin pressure. The use of oxygen masks was not necessary in both cockpit and passenger cabin. The aircraft returned to Brasilia. The occurrence was rated an incident.

A replacement A320 registration PR-MBA reached Vitoria with a delay of 2 hours.
