A LATAM Brasil Airbus A320-200, registration PR-MYO performing flight
LA-3858 from Sao Paulo Guarulhos,SP to Cascavel,PR (Brazil) with 145 passengers and 6 crew, landed on Cascavel's runway 15 and slowed to about 15 knots over ground when the aircraft attempted to turn around to backtrack but went off the runway short of the runway end.
The airline reported the aircraft overran the runway during the final stage of its landing at approximately 9:45 am (local time).
Brazil's CENIPA reported: "During the landing procedure on RWY 15, the aircraft veered off the left side of the runway and stopped alongside the last third of its length." and opened an investigation into the occurrence rated a serious incident.
