A Level Airbus A330-200 on behalf of Iberia, registration EC-ODA performing flight
IB-2623 from Barcelona,SP (Spain) to Los Angeles,CA (USA), was enroute at FL340 over Wales (UK) when the crew decided to return to Barcelona due to a tyre problem. The aircraft landed safely on Barcelona's runway 24R about 5 hours after departure and became disabled on the runway. The aircraft was towed off the runway about 30 minutes after landing.
The rotation was cancelled.
The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 23 hours before returning to service.
