An Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200, registration EI-EDS performing flight
EI-605 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Dublin (Ireland), was descending towards Dublin when the crew declared Mayday due to an engine (CFM56) shut down. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Dublin's runway 10L about 16 minutes later.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Dublin about 48 hours after landing.
