A LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration SP-LVK performing flight LO-267 from Warsaw (Poland) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was enroute at FL380 about 10nm north of Hanover (Germany) when the aircraft suddenly deviated from its assigned flight level indicating FL384, the crew subsequently declared emergency reporting they had unreliable altitude and airspeed indications and descended the aircraft to FL100 at a normal descent rate. The aircraft cancelled the emergency and continued to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 36R about 45 minutes later.

Poland's PKBWL reported the crew found incorrect altitude and airspeed indications on the first officer's instruments, after working the related checklists and analysing the situation the crew cancelled the emergency. The occurrence was rated an incident and is being investigated.
