A LOT Polish Airlines Embraer ERJ-195, registration SP-LNN performing flight
LO-420 from Zurich (Switzerland) to Warsaw (Poland), was cleared to line up runway 28 for departure from Zurich when after nearly completing the line up the crew reported they had a technical issue requiring them to be towed off the runway. Tower responded they get that organised.
Takeoffs continued from runway 28 via Intersection K about 580 meters/1900 feet down the runway, remaining runway length about 1900 meters/6280 feet.
The aircraft was towed off the runway about 3 hours later.
