The aircraft maintained 2000 feet while the crew worked the related checklists, the crew subsequently announced they had solved that hydraulic problem for now and were ready for another approach. The aircraft landed safely on runway 31L about 2:10 hours after departure. The aircraft taxied to the apron.

The aircraft positioned to Frankfurt on May 15th 2025 and returned to service on May 18th 2025.

On May 21st 2025 the airline reported that the crew observed a significantly increased fuel consumption for one engine during the climb, in cruise then the engine failed, the crew returned to JFK. The engine was inspected, a control unit was found defective and was replaced, the aircraft is in service again.
