A Lufthansa Canadair CRJ-900, registration D-ACNK performing flight
LH-2152 from Munich to Stuttgart (Germany), was climbing out of Munich's runway 08L when the crew requested left hand turns to return to the field due to problems with one of the engines (CF34). The aircraft stopped the climb at 5000 feet, joined a downwind and landed safely back on runway 08L about 20 minutes after departure.
Munich's airport police reported the aircraft returned due to engine trouble.
The rotation was cancelled due to night curfew.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Munich about 15 hours after landing back.
