A Malta Air Boeing 737-800 on behalf of Ryanair, registration 9H-QAI performing flight
FR-6494 from Agadir (Morocco) to Marseille (France), was climbing out of Agadir's runway 27 when the crew stopped the climb at FL070 reporting smoke/fumes on board. The aircraft returned to Agadir for a safe landing on runway 27 about 40 minutes after departure.
The flight was cancelled.
The aircraft is still on the ground in Agadir about 21 hours after landing.
