A Nouvelair Airbus A320-200, registration TS-IND performing flight
BJ-786 from Tunis (Tunisia) to Nice (France), was enroute at FL360 about 120nm southsoutheast of Alghero (Italy) when the crew decided to divert to Alghero reporting smoke in the cabin. The aircraft landed safely on Alghero's runway 20 about 30 minutes after leaving FL360.
The aircraft remained on the ground in Alghero for about 10 hours, then positioned back to Tunis and is currently still on the ground in Tunis about 27 hours after landing in Tunis.
