An Air Peace Airbus A320-200, registration ES-SAY performing flight P4-7154 from Lagos to Owerri (Nigeria), was climbing out of Lagos' runway 18R when the crew stopped the climb at FL170 due to problems with the bleed air and decided to return to Lagos for a safe landing on runway 18R about 50 minutes after departure.

The airline reported the aircraft was already airborne when the crew noticed a bleed air challenge and decided to return to Lagos. Another aircraft was dispatched to perform the flight.

A replacement A320-200 registration ES-SAB performing the next flight P4-5178 reached Owerri with a delay of about 2 hours.
