A Perimeter Aviation de Havilland Dash 8-100, registration C-GRGI performing flight
JV-107 from Winnipeg,MB to Island Lake,MB (Canada), was enroute about 50nm from Winnipeg when the crew received a cargo smoke indication, turned around and returned to Winnipeg for a safe landing.
The Canadian TSB reported maintenance replaced both cargo smoke detectors.
