A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration AP-BLB performing flight
PK-203 from Lahore (Pakistan) to Dubai (United Arab Emirates), was enroute at FL340 about 230nm northeast of Karachi (Pakistan) when the crew decided to divert to Karachi reporting navigation problems and a FMS failure. The aircraft landed safely on Karachi's runway 25L about 45 minutes later.
Pakistan's AIB opened an investigation into the occurrence rated a serious incident.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 2 hours, then resumed the flight and reached Dubai with a delay of about 2:45 hours.
