A Qantas Boeing 737-800, registration VH-VXC performing flight
QF-596 from Sydney,NS to Coolangatta,QL (Australia), landed on Gold Coast Airport's runway 32 but became disabled on the runway due to a hydraulic leak and loss of steering.
Passengers reported they were kept on board of the aircraft sitting on the runway for about 5 hours before the aircraft was towed to the apron.
The aircraft remained on the ground for about 22 hours then positioned to Sydney.
