A RAM Royal Air Maroc Boeing 787-8, registration CN-RGU performing flight
AT-910 from Casablanca (Morocco) to Istanbul (Turkey), was enroute at FL400 about 280nm northeast of Casablanca when the crew initiated an emergency descent to FL100 due to the loss of cabin pressure and returned to Casablanca for a safe landing on runway 35R about 100 minutes after departure.
A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration CN-RNU reached Istanbul with a delay of about 5 hours.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Casablanca about 79 hours (3 days 7 hours) after landing back.
