A Royal Air Maroc Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration CN-MAX performing flight
AT-761 from Paris Orly (France) to Casablanca (Morocco), had just landed on Casablanca's runway 35L and was taxiing towards the apron when the aircraft crossed runway 35R.
A Lufthansa Cargo Airbus A321-200 freighter, registration D-AEUI performing flight LH-8349 from Casablanca (Morocco) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was accelerating for takeoff from runway 35R at that time.
Morocco's BEA reported: "On Saturday, June 22, 2024, the Boeing B737-800 aircraft, registered CN-MAX, operated by the Royal Air Maroc company, made a runway incursion at Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (GMMN), during the taxiing phase after landing." and opened an investigation.
On Feb 21st 2025 Germany's BFU released their "June 2024" Bulletin and stated, that they joined the investigation led by Morocco's BEA because one of the aircraft involved was registered in Germany.
