A Safair Boeing 737-400, registration ZS-JRE performing flight
FA-143 from East London to Cape Town (South Africa), was climbing out of East London's runway 29 when the crew stopped the climb at about 15000 feet and diverted to Port Elizabeth (South Africa) for a safe landing on runway 26 about 40 minutes after departure.
The aircraft was able to continue the flight after about 5:20 hours on the ground.
The airline reported a component was indicated to be out of limits.
